Amid the ongoing celebration of Wright’s 150th birthday, the Gugg is taking advantage of its connection to the pioneering architect by throwing him a birthday party.
After some back and forth over the design in 2014, the museum tapped Selldorf Architects to lead the expansion in October last year.
The 4,840-square-foot Tokyo space will display the models of Kengo Kuma, Jun Aoki, Shigeru Ban and others.
