Curbed Cup Elite Eight: (2) West Loop and Fulton Market vs. (7) Uptown
I didn’t insult Uptown. It has its merits. I may have insulted Uptown residents. I just don’t get it. I live in Wicker Park, but I’m not on here voting for it over and over. If I had to choose between Wicker and West Loop for the so called Curbed Cup id probably vote the latter. Just more developments and things happening there right now. But I love Wicker. Ultimately who cares right. Uptown wins it’s 10th Curbed Cup in a row… must mean it’s the super most bestest neighborhood ever times infinity (and up and coming!).

Come at me Dave & Busters.. I probably smashed your girl like your favorite whack-a-mole last time I was at The MID. Took her back up to my lair in Uptown and made her pay for the $45 Uber home.

All this really is is a contest to see which neighborhood can get the most people online to vote for their own hood – that’s how this thing works, its really not that complicated. There is no committee looking at 100s of factors to determine what the "best" hood is.
The fact that you have to insult another neighborhood because you are mad your hood of choice is not going to win just illustrates that you are likely the most insecure person on this thread. Its a stupid game man, go cry somewhere else (we don’t cry like little wussies in Uptown – so probably don’t come here though).

Uptown? Seeing this years results (if it beats Fulton Mkt/West Loop) and the past history makes me think either the writers live in the neighborhood, or the site is bombarded by it’s residents lol
Curbed Cup 1st round: (7) Uptown vs. (10) Lakeview
Clearly you have never been north of Irving Park except in your car to pull into the Target garage. But the Bridgeview Bank, Aragon Ballroom, and Riviera Theater are just a couple of places that are by far more remarkable than Target. Also, the only good thing about Target is that it is not upscale and it gives people less money an ability to buy the things they need, I don’t love that it’s there, but at least it’s not trying to force out less fortunate people.
