The year’s final meeting of the Chicago Plan Commission green-lit a number of development projects yesterday, including a plan that would replace Old Town’s Noble Horse Theatre at 1415 N. Sedgwick.
The Chicago Plan Commission will vote on a measure recommending the transfer of a city-owned parcel of riverfront property near the border of East Pilsen and Chinatown to a private entity planning to operate a fleet of amphibious tour boats.
While news of Related Midwest’s plan to develop 62-acres of riverfront vacant land south of the Chicago Loop was reported in May of 2015, ink has dried on its new joint multibillion dollar venture with landowner General Mediterranean Holding.
