Noble Square is a small residential neighborhood sandwiched between the I-90 expressway, the Division Blue Line station, and Eckhart Park. It’s a perfect place to live if you want to be near the restaurants and shopping of Wicker Park but still have a little peace and quiet.
This two-bedroom, two-bathroom has a great open, loft-like layout with exposed brick and timber beams. Plus, we are swept up in the decor from the owner, Samantha Allen, who runs the furniture and decor shop Peak Stuff Vintage. There are pops of colorful wallpaper, interesting sculptures, one-of-a-kind fiber art, and a wild, bohemian sectional.
The master bedroom is towards the back and has access to a small outdoor area with a little wooden deck. The bathroom is new with white marble and an oversized walk-in shower with a paned glass wall. Downstairs there’s room to create a third bedroom, but right now it exists as a workspace.
There’s lots of new homes on the block, but unlike those, this property has the character from its 1880 construction.
Think that 1311 W, Ancona Street is for you? It’s listed for $550,000 with Ginny Holbert
