As COVID-19 spreads across the globe, precautions like social distancing, event cancellations, and even unnecessary panic shopping are underway.
As local, state, and national officials take steps to follow guidance from the Center for Disease Control, Illinois issued a “stay-at-home” order to prevent further spread of the coronavirus.
While many people will still go to work—such as those who work at grocery stores, transit agencies, and healthcare—most residents must remain inside as much as possible.
