A chic condo in a small yellow brick building is listed for under $300,000—that’s well below the neighborhood’s median list price of $445,000, according to Zillow data.

This one-bedroom, one-bathroom unit is on the top floor of a corner building. It boasts a stylish interior with glass shade light fixtures, color-blocked paint, subway tiling, and a pastel pink bathroom. There are large rooms, lots of natural light, and a back porch with room for a few lounge chairs and an herb garden.

One reason we love this unit is the previous owner’s smart use of paint. For example, the bedroom has a pair of French doors and instead of using curtains, the glass is painted with a diagonal stripes of light blue. In the bedroom, the ceilings appear higher because the walls are broken up with light and dark shades of teal. And finally, a shade of retro pink was all it took to completely transform the bathroom.
