A new six-unit brick building wrapping up construction near Humboldt Park has a few units pending sales after just a month, but this one for under $500K is still on the market.

The open and modern two-bedroom, two-bathroom home has an interesting design and finishes—not the typical grey, beige, and white. While the color palette is neutral—the light fixtures are geometric, there’s a textured accent wall in the dining area, and the hardware is thoughtful.

The master bedroom has windows that frame the bed and a bathroom with double vanities, stone shower tiles, and heated floors. The building’s plan shows both duplex and simplex layouts and two units per floor which are mirror images of each other on either side.

Nearby California Avenue has a ton of local shops and restaurants. Plus, Humboldt Park is one of the best outdoor spaces in the city with winding trails, a lagoon, swan-shaped paddle boats, and athletic courts.
