While sports bars are commonplace around Chicago’s Wrigley Field, this nearby condo offers an unusual twist in the form of a private rooftop watering hole sure to impress both casual and diehard Cubs fans alike.

Perched five-stories above Wrigleyville’s North Wilton Avenue, the unique outdoor space features a shaded bar with neon beer signs and stools for seven, a built-in sound system and TV, and enough of room to play bags.

If that wasn’t enough, the deck boasts spectacular views of Wrigley Field as well as Chicago’s downtown skyline. It doesn’t provide a direct line of sight to the diamond like Wrigley’s official ticketed rooftop venues, but this DIY sports bar is close enough to hear the crack of bats and roars from the crowd.

Below its show-stealing rooftop, the 1,500-square-foot home has a well-appointed interior. Appealing more to traditional tastes, the living area sports an ornately detailed fireplace, crown moldings, hardwood floors, and a kitchen with mocha wood cabinetry, granite countertops, and stainless appliances. The property also includes a single garage parking space.

Built in 2005, this two-bedroom, two-bathroom Wrigleyville penthouse hit the market in June, asking just shy of $650,000. It has since been reduced twice and is currently available for $619,900.
