Chicago Blackhawks player Marian Hossa listed his three-bedroom downtown condo on Tuesday, seeking a price just shy of $4.5 million.
Spanning nearly 4,000 square feet, the 14th-floor home sports an extra large designer kitchen, three and a half bathrooms, and two outdoor terraces with views of Lake Michigan and downtown Chicago. Its master suite features a steam sauna, heated onyx floor, and a custom walk-in closet, according to the Chicago Tribune.
“Big Hoss” paid $2.35 million for the home in 2010 after joining the Blackhawks organization the year before. The Czechoslovakian-born veteran played 534 of his 1,309 NHL games with Chicago and picked up three Stanley Cup wins in the process.
Hossa, however, sat sidelined for 2017-18 season on the long-term injured reserve list due to a skin condition caused by an allergic reaction to his hockey equipment. Although the 39-year-old still has three years left on his contract, his status with the Blackhawks remains “unchanged” as of last month.
The player’s Gold Coast condo is represented by listing agent Veronika Tomasu with Century 21 Action.
