A charming red brick condo built in 1882 just came back on the market in River North. The three-bedroom, two-bathroom home is listed for $450,000.

There are plenty of original details to fawn over such as the wood burning fireplaces, a stained glass window in the living room, and a front staircase with carefully maintained wood railing carvings.

There’s exposed brick that’s painted over and wood beams in the kitchen that give the home a bit more texture than other more contemporary options. This property has been on the market in previous years, but this time the owners have upgraded the all the appliances and added an in-unit combination washer and dryer.

The layout is a bit quirky, the third bedroom opens to the kitchen and was likely a dining room, according to comments on Redfin. Regardless, it makes a good nursery or office. The other two bedrooms are a decent size and the master comes with one of the brick fireplaces.
