The interior designer for this Lincoln Park home definitely had the Midas touch—every room had a luxurious feel with items like a built-in velvet dining bench, elegant marble countertops, high-end textured wallpaper, and coffered ceilings complete with gold inlay. It’s clear, this upscale home is doing the most. The property listed for $2,000,000 about a month ago.

The 11-unit development was built back in 2011 on the site of the former Wonder Bread factory. The four-bedroom, four-bathroom residence previously sold for $1,600,000 in 2014, but since then the owners have put in $265,000 in designer upgrades. The spacious, private condo is spread out over 4,000 square feet and feels a bit more like a single family home.

Passing the fenced-in front side yard, enter through the front door to find herringbone laid tile and a cozy seating area around a dramatic black and white fireplace. Upstairs, the kitchen features a large island with a unique countertop and an outdoor terrace perfect for sipping morning coffee. The living room centers on a large fireplace and the room’s gold touches make it feel quite indulgent.

The master bedroom has oversized windows, two separate walk-in closets, and a bathroom that truly goes all out. It comes with substantial double vanities framed by sconces and a giant soaking tub with a warming towel rack and chandelier.

The home has a total of four outdoor spaces, there’s a wide wrap-around patio with seating and dining areas. The rooftop lounge area outfitted with a TV making it an ideal hangout for game day.
