Brandon Saad of the Chicago Blackhawks has planted roots in the West Lakeview neighborhood, paying $1.475 million for a spacious 4,500-square-foot home, the Chicago Tribune reports. According to the listing information, Saad’s deal for the five-bedroom, four and a half bathroom home formally closed on September 1.
Located near the Bricktown pocket community, this brick house is fully loaded and not an unusual choice for a pro athlete. The house boasts upscale finishes and appliances and a number of luxury extras like a home theater setup and a number of outdoor spaces, including a turfed roof deck.
With two Stanley Cup championships under his belt at the age of 24, it’s likely that the winger will have a long career in Chicago with the Blackhawks.
