When considering price and location, the units at Marina City are tough to beat. They’re not going to be for everyone, but those who dig its retro vibes and influence on Chicago architecture can certainly appreciate what Marina City has to offer. Perhaps you’re looking for your first condo, or maybe you just simply have to keep your budget well under $300,000. Either way, you have a couple of decent options currently available in the landmark towers.
This one-bedroom boasts a recently remodeled bathroom and newer kitchen. The mirrored wall certainly adds a retro touch, but being Marina City, it definitely works here. The balcony views are tough to beat for the price. Over the last couple of months, this one has taken price chops in $2,000 increments. The most recent one from mid-August has lowered the ask down to $265,000.
This one-bedroom unit is the same size as the previous listing, but with its open floor plan in the main room, it seems to be more spacious. The kitchen and living room work together as one, leading towards the balcony off the front of the floor plan. Located on the 57th floor, you’re getting sweeping views, but they’re not as exciting as the other unit. This one just hit the market today seeking $275,000.
