Lakefront revelers will have some new options for drinks and dining in the coming weeks. The Shore Club at North Avenue Beach, a new seasonal restaurant and lounge concept, is slated to open on August 1, DNAinfo reports. The new restaurant and patio is opening in a space created by the recent separation of Chicago’s busy Lakefront Trail for cyclists and pedestrians. Three distinct concepts will be a part of the Shore Club, including The Restaurant, an indoor restaurant space which will serve brunch and dinner, an outdoor bar and lounge area dubbed The Patio, and the upscale, reservations-required Oasis which will features cabanas and sunbeds.

Design of the new bar, restaurant, and patio concept comes from MWorks Architects, a local firm which specializes in residential architecture. All three concepts combined, the new Shore Club will contain nearly 13,000 square feet of space for patrons. The upcoming restaurant and patio is currently offering brunch packages for this summer’s Air & Water Show ranging from $125 to $750 per person.
