For much of the last 24 hours, Chicago has been under various severe weather warnings. It wouldn’t be a proper Chicago summer without lightning storms, and as always, many residents had their cameras handy to capture the natural light show. Last night’s lightning storm was a bit unusual as the sky was filled with lightening but with little to no audible thunder accompanying it.
Already, a handful of videos have surfaced on Youtube while dozens of other shorter clips and hundreds of images have been shared on Instagram and Twitter. Here’s a quick look at some of the best footage of last night’s storm posted online.
