Over the weekend, the city hosted a celebration to officially kick off the 2017 summer season for the Chicago Riverwalk. The event, which featured a fireworks show that could be seen down the river corridor, drew many to the 1.3-mile riverwalk for the big season kickoff. The show culminated with a “pyrotechnic waterfall display” from the Clark Street and LaSalle Street bridges. And as expected, many attendees shared their view of the show across social media outlets. Here’s a quick look at this past Saturday’s big season opening fireworks show.
