The old North Avenue Baths building in Wicker Park is one of the neighborhoods great buildings. Clad in ornamental terracotta, the building is an integral link to the neighborhood’s past while also serving modern uses. Perhaps best known for housing the revamped Trencherman restaurant now dubbed Trench, the building also features loft apartments. One such unit—a three-bedroom, two-bathroom loft—is currently available for $3,600 per month. It’s not a cheap apartment, but it’s roomy and very unique. And if you’re a die-hard Wicker Park and Bucktown resident, the location is tough to beat.
