2306 N. Springfield Avenue #1

This two-bedroom apartment in a brick two-flat on the western edge of the Logan Square neighborhood has been recently updated and can be rented for $1,500 per month. All of the kitchen appliances are new and the back porch has been renovated. Extras include free laundry and a garage parking space. However, despite the $1,500 monthly rent, this landlord is asking for a $2,250 security deposit.

$1,500 per month can also get you into this three-bedroom, two-bathroom coach house in Bridgeport. For folks tired of hearing their noisy neighbors upstairs, here’s a chance to get some privacy and peace. There aren’t a ton of special features or amenities here, but you do get in-unit laundry with the rent.

2346 W. Thomas Street

If you’re set on the Ukrainian Village neighborhood, here’s a top-floor two-bedroom apartment that can be rented for $1,500. The unit is sunny and features central heat and air, which is nice for the cold winters and humid summers. Pets are also allowed, but will cost a pet fee. Speaking of fees—there’s a $300 move-in fee and no security deposit.

4915 N. Oakley Avenue #1

Here’s a two-bedroom apartment near the heart of Lincoln Square that can be rented for $1,500. As the photos clearly demonstrate, this one is a garden unit. It’s been updated and does feature plenty of windows so it’s not like living in a dungeon. It does feature in-unit laundry and has a highly coveted dishwasher, so there’s that.

3313 W. Sunnyside Avenue #2A

Located up in Albany Park, you’re getting a little more space than some of the others with this one. For $1,500 per month, this one gets you two full bedrooms, a den, and two-bathrooms. The finishes are rental grade but by no means bad. This one features central heat and air and in-unit laundry, but pets are not allowed.

3253 W. Flournoy Street #1

This spacious three-bedroom, two-bathroom unit in the North Lawndale neighborhood has been completely gut rehabbed. It boasts all new finishes and includes central heat and air, a dishwasher, a gas fireplace, a large private deck, and a reserved parking space. Pets will cost you a one-time fee of $150.
