The four-story building is the first of three new structures planned for the 2600 block of North Hermitage

Norweta Row

The first new building of the Norweta Row development in western Lincoln Park landed its full construction permit yesterday. Located at 2633 N. Hermitage, the four-story building will contain 16 luxury condo units. Eventually, the completed three-building project will feature a 76-unit mix of for-sale homes and rental apartments. A pool deck, multiple landscaped terraces, and 76 parking spots are expected to round-out the finished development.

Developed by Broder Lincoln Park and designed by architect Pappageorge Haymes Partners, the Norweta project gets its name from an abbreviation derived from the old Northwestern Terra Cotta Company factory that once occupied the site. While Norweta’s rental prices have yet to be revealed, a number of condos are currently listed for sale, including a 5,200-square-foot, five-bedroom penthouse unit asking $2,995,000.
