A really neat Hyde Park row home designed by the modernist master Harry Weese has hit the market. The home, along with its funky carpeting and collection of authentic mid-century furniture, has almost a time capsule quality to it. There are no records showing that this one has previously listed on the MLS, so it’s safe to assume that this house has not exchanged hands in many years.
The house and its finishes are rather simple, but the various rooms certainly have a modernist flair. While the photos suggest that the place is in decent condition, the listing agent makes it clear that the home is being sold as is. The green carpet can go, but it’d be nice if some of the furniture was included.
