As Chicago prepares to warm up this weekend with temps expected reach the high 50s, this coming Monday is no better time for the Chicago Water Taxi to launch its 2017 season. Starting on March 20th, the Windy City’s fleet of bright yellow vaporettos will begin make routine stops at all Main Branch locations including Ogilvie/Union Station, LaSalle Street, the Riverwalk, and Michigan Avenue.
According to Chicago Water Taxi Chief of Operations Andrew Sargis, service along the Chicago’s River’s South and North Branches—including Chicago Avenue and weekend voyages to and from Chinatown—is anticipated to commence later this Spring.
