Despite breaking ground only five weeks or so ago, a couple of penthouse units in an upcoming—and quite unusual—Lincoln Park condominium project have already hit the market. Located steps from the park at 2035 N. Orleans, the boutique development will eventually feature ten new luxury residences constructed behind an existing brick and limestone facade of an old 1930s-era parking garage.

This past weekend, the development’s four-bedroom, 4,500-square-foot eastern penthouse hit the MLS seeking a cool $3,650,000. Meanwhile, the home’s marginally smaller, west-facing sibling unit showed up asking $3,500,000. Both properties will feature 10-12 foot ceilings, access to large terraces, high-end interior finishes, two indoor parking stalls, and the buyer’s personalized choice of materials.

The 2035 N. Orleans project comes from developer Clark Orleans Holdings with design work headed by Chicago-based architect Sullivan Goulette & Wilson. It was approved by the Chicago Plan Commission in January of this year and is expected to be ready for occupancy next spring.
