Event invites you to meet the people behind the South Loop’s changing skyline

A Chicago Architect Foundation lecture will highlight three highly anticipated high-rise projects

While much has recently been written about Rafael Viñoly’s One Grant Park, Hartshorne Plunkard’s Essex on the Park, and JAHN’s 1000M, the Chicago Architecture Foundation will look to delve even deeper into this striking trio of skyline-altering towers currently headed to Chicago’s South Loop at an event taking place this week.

Dubbed “Current Projects: New Skyscrapers on the Park,” the evening lecture will provide a unique opportunity to hear architects and developers share both their designs and inspirations for some of Chicago’s most anticipated projects. Among the expert panelists will be Chan-li Lin of Viñoly Architects. Mr. Lin serves as project director of the 76-story One Grant Park tower that is currently under construction at the corner of Roosevelt and Indiana.
