A lovely old Victorian residence by one of Chicago’s most prominent architects has hit the market and can be yours for $975,000. The 162 year old on Lincoln Avenue in north suburban Glencoe was designed by William Warren Boyington, an architect that designed many notable structures including the original The Chicago Board of Trade building and the iconic Chicago Water Tower on Michigan Avenue. Unfortunately, many of Boyington’s buildings were lost during the Great Chicago Fire of 1871, but this charming old five-bedroom, three-bathroom house has survived through the years.
