While one River North boutique condo development prepares to launch sales at Superior and Sedgwick, an 11-story project two blocks south has been cleared for takeoff at 360 W. Erie. Known simply as Three Sixty West, the 38-unit project from Belgravia Group and GREC Architects was just granted a construction permit estimated at $30 million.
In addition to a communal fitness center, resident lounge, and an outdoor terrace, the building will also feature 52 deeded parking spaces across a single basement level and a portion of the ground floor. Three Sixty West will contain no ground floor retail space—a choice that seems to be increasingly common among newer River North developments west of Orleans Street.
Before work can begin, the development’s sales center in the building formerly occupied by Citizen Bar will need to be vacated and demolished. Belgravia Group is also busy putting the finishing touches on the 69-unit CA Washington project at 27 N. Aberdeen in the West Loop and just began construction on River North’s 18-story Renelle on the River at 405 N. Wabash.
