Well preserved Tudor home by E. E. Roberts lists for $1.125M

The home is a unique blend of the Tudor Revival and Prairie School styles

606 Keystone Avenue, River Forest
VHT Studios

A very unique and well preserved home from noted Prairie School architect Eben Ezra Roberts has hit the market in suburban River Forest. Built in 1906, the home features an exterior which nods to the Tudor Revival movement while featuring an interior that is distinctly Prairie School. And with five bedrooms and three and a half bathrooms spread over nearly 5,000 square feet, the home is quite spacious. A plethora of original architectural features remain, including two brick fireplaces, the built-ins and millwork in the formal dining room, and numerous art glass windows. However, like many other turn of the century homes that still serve as private residences, the kitchen and bathrooms have been updated.

This historic home in suburban River Forest stands over a half-acre lot and just listed for $1.125 million.
