Full-floor designer condo in Chicago’s Palmolive Building lists for $7M

For a 2007 rehab, the home’s decor and finishes still look contemporary and fresh

Occupying the entire 23rd floor of the Windy City’s iconic art deco Palmolive Building, this spacious four-bedroom home offers high-end finishes, wrap-around Lake Michigan views, and an unbeatable location along Chicago’s Mag Mile. The condo owes its cohesive—albeit relatively safe—interior to a 2007 rehab by Gary Lee Partners and sports numerous custom built-ins and a sleek high-end kitchen. The dark wood panelling of the library is a particularly nice touch and subtle reminder of the tower’s 1929 pedigree.

The newly-listed unit is seeking a cool $7,000,000 and includes a pair of garage parking spaces and access to the building’s amenities. Potential buyers, however, shouldn’t expect to rub elbows with Vince Vaughn in the steam shower any time soon. The Hollywood actor and Chicagoland native sold-off his massive Palmolive triplex as two separate units for $8,000,000 and $4,100,000 last year.
