Updated renderings and an official name shed new light on the upcoming project

Under construction for approximately five months, the 26-story apartment tower rising at State and Huron now has an official name and new renderings. Previously referred to simply by its address of 8 E. Huron, the project has seen the addition of signage at the construction site and the launch of a brand new website which both reveal a not-too-shocking formal name of — wait for it — 8 East Huron.

Developed by CA Ventures and designed by architect Valerio Dewalt Train Associates, the glassy tower will contain 102 high-end rental units, three levels of parking (31 stalls), and new ground floor retail. While previous renderings of 8 East Huron were somewhat murky twilight shots, a number of additional images have been released and provide us with first glimpse of the upcoming building’s interior lobby, amenity spaces, and units.

Currently a couple levels above street level, the new River North tower will reportedly begin pre-leasing in the spring of 2017 with delivery expected to follow later that fall. Floor plans can be viewed in via 8 East Huron’s digital leasing brochure.
