Former White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs buys in Ravenswood

The former mouthpiece for the Obama administration has paid $1.635M for a North Side new construction

Former White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs and his wife Mary Catherine have recently closed on a new construction in the Ravenswood neighborhood. According to the Chicago Tribune, Gibbs closed on the house on July 8th, paying $1.635 million for the five-bedroom, five-bathroom new construction. Gibbs joined McDonald’s last summer as the fast food giant’s PR chief. And with the upcoming relocation from suburban Oak Brook to the West Loop, we may see many more McDonald’s execs and employees buying in the city.
