If you’ve been wanting to go camping all summer but just haven’t been able to carve out the time to do it, here’s your chance to get some quality outdoor time in the heart of the city. Adult camping is coming back to Northerly Island this summer this Friday evening. What’s adult camping you ask? Well, it’s not exactly "roughing it." Instead, there will be beer, Clif bars, music, and other activities. The Chicago Parks Foundation is offering different packages for those looking to get in on the action. If you’re able to bring your own tent, tickets will run $165 per person. Otherwise, if you’re looking to be pampered during your camping outing, you can sleep in a tent set up by the Chicago Parks Foundation for $185. There will be beer, a barbecue dinner, and music from Waxahatchee on Friday evening and then sunrise yoga and a hot brunch the following morning.
