The new Target location in Lincoln Park has officially opened. Located on the ground floor at 2650 N. Clark Street, the new 33,000-square-foot store is a miniature sized version of their larger stores typically found throughout the country. The store, which was previously occupied by electronics retailer Best Buy, is one of a few smaller footprint stores that Target plans to open in Chicago in the next couple of years. Back in April, the Minneapolis-based retailed announced that it was looking to hire 85 employees for the new location. While it is smaller than a typical location, the new Lincoln Park target still features a pharmacy, a grocery section, a Starbucks, and a Freshii franchise.
