Kenwood Estate Designed by Howard Van Doren Shaw Returns With Price Cut

New, 2 comments

The listing also includes new photos of the interior

A spacious brick and limestone mansion designed by Howard Van Doren Shaw in the Kenwood neighborhood has returned with a fresh look and a price reduction. The 10,000-square-foot home, built in 1904, features a number of old world luxury amenities such as a solarium, a spacious parlor room, seven fireplaces and a 3,000-square-foot coach house. The home hit the market in April 2015 with a $3.65 million price tag, but the photos revealed a very busy home with heaps of taxidermy. The antlers, which made an appearance in nearly every photo, have been ditched, allowing us to focus on the home's beautifully crafted interiors. This estate returns again, this time seeking $3.2 million.
