Gold Coast Mansion from TV's 'Webster' Lists for $9.5M

The home is owned by Chicago developers who have renovated it in recent years

The Chicago house made famous by the popular television show Webster has just hit the market and can be yours for the stately sum of $9.5 million. In the show that starred Emmanuel Lewis, Alex Karras, and Susan Clark, the family moved into the Gold Coast mansion in the second season. According to the Tribune's Bob Goldsborough, the 10,00-square-foot home is currently owned by Randy and Steven of Fifield Development and Fifield Capital Partners. The Fifields purchased the home in 2011 for $4.985 million and renovated it over the next several years. The Fifield tell the Tribune that because of their experience in real estate development that they were "the perfect family" to take on the renovation of the home. The home, which date back to 1885, has received some modern updates, including a finished basement that features a home theater, a game room, and study room.
