Chicago, get ready: We're preparing for our first-ever Renovation Week, which will take place across the Curbed network during the first week of May. Transforming the places we inhabit is integral to the human condition. At some point in our lives we've all renovated something, and we know you have stories!
We want to see and hear about your renovation experiences. Whether you've given your apartment a facelift, overhauled your decor (now everything is midcentury modern), transformed your weed-filled yard into a stunning garden, or turned your two-unit building into a single-family home, we want to see it, before and after.
What were the challenges you faced? Did your contractor quit halfway through? Were you thousands of dollars over budget? Or did everything go according to your painstakingly laid out plans (ha!)? What is your favorite part of the final results? If you did it all over again, what would you change?
During Renovation Week, we'll round up the best contributions and post them right here on Curbed.
