The Obama Foundation is taking its next big step in the process of bringing the future Obama Presidential Center to the South Side by moving into an office space in the Hyde Park neighborhood. The Obama Foundation, which is currently in the process of selecting an architect for the project, will move into a temporary office space tomorrow in order to be closer to the community members and residents who will have a part in the planning process for the project. Last December, the foundation released its shortlist of architects for the presidential center, but indicated that it would not announce a winner until this year.
