The 36-story tower will become CNA Financial's new HQ

New tower construction for 2016 will continue with the glassy new headquarters for CNA Financial. The 36-story office tower designed by John Ronan Architects has been given the green light by the city to begin foundation work. The new tower comes from The John Buck Company, a developer that is currently building a glassy rental tower on Michigan Avenue across the street from Millennium Park. The new 151 N. Franklin tower will deliver 820,000 square feet of office and retail space to the west end of the Loop when completed. CNA will vacate their trademark red office tower at 333 S. Wabash Avenue in the Loop, which the John Buck Company has acquired and will redevelop.
