A Rare Frank Lloyd Wright Row House Returns Asking $575K

New, 1 comment

Will a lower asking price finally entice a buyer?

You don't have to be a millionaire to own a house designed by the esteemed Frank Lloyd Wright. This row home in Wright's Roloson Houses development has returned to the market with some new photos and a lower $575,000 asking price. Built in 1894, this cluster of homes is notable for being the only group of row houses ever designed by Frank Lloyd Wright. And as the photos indicate, this four bedroom, three and a half bathroom house is quite spacious for being a row house. Located in the Douglas neighborhood on the city's south side, the Roloson Houses are listed on the National Register of Historic Places and are protected as a Chicago Landmark. This particular house first listed nearly two years ago asking $685,000. Today, it can be had for over $100K less.
