New West Loop condo project approaches groundbreaking, reveals interiors

Work on the controversial ‘111ume’ development is scheduled to begin early next month

Located just east of Mary Bartelme Park at 111 S. Peoria, the so-called 111ume condos are reportedly still on track to break ground on December 1st despite a lawsuit from nearby residents attempting to block the project. Brian Goldberg of LG Development tells Crain’s that although the suit challenges the zoning approval process for the 10-story building, LG and its partner Dream Town Realty have the entitlements and permits they need to proceed with construction regardless of the current legal challenge.

While 111ume’s developers revealed floor plans and pricing (starting at $192,000 for a one-bedroom unit) back in June, renderings of the project’s interiors have since been published on the building’s official website. Additional images come from eight of the development’s 79 condo units that are currently for sale MLS. Featuring three- and four-bedroom layouts, these future homes are asking between $875,000 and $2,225,000.
