A clearer look at the under-construction Centrum 606 project in Bucktown

Current renderings offer a better idea of how the project will look once completed

Construction on the new Centrum 606 development at 1767 N. Milwaukee Avenue in Bucktown is well underway, but the project’s developer has offered a clearer look at how the six-level mixed user will look when it is completed next year. The folks at the real estate project crawling and data site BuzzBuzzHome spotted the images on Centrum Partner’s website. While there is no other new info regarding the development, the images certainly provide a better idea of the project’s massing and even a look at the outdoor amenity deck.

Anyone who has been on the Blue Line lately has probably noticed that workers are making progress on framing out the 100-unit development. Centrum 606 will also feature a 18,000-square-foot Aldi grocery store on the ground level when it is completed. And as the name suggests, the project stands directly adjacent to the popular 606 trail, which has been a boon for property owners and real estate speculators.

The new development is just one of many new rental and retail projects coming to Milwaukee Avenue. It’s also just one of several new developments coming from Centrum Partners. To keep things consistent, all of Centrum’s projects have simple, no-nonsense names indicating the developer and neighborhood in which the development is being built.
