It’s been exactly one month after workers officially broke ground on the upcoming Vista Tower, and today we can see the beginnings of what will become the foundation for the 1,186-foot supertall tower. Construction crews are drilling deep into the earth and removing soil to make room for the foundation caissons which will plant the tower firmly into the earth. Curbed construction photographer Harry Carmichael recently swung by the site in the Lakeshore East neighborhood to get a look at how the progress is coming and provided us with a look (along with some captions).
