A glimpse inside Chicago’s upcoming ‘Renelle on the River’ condo tower

Roomy three- and four-bedroom condominiums in the planned tower are officially for sale

Planned to occupy a tight space just north of Chicago’s soaring Trump Tower, the relatively diminutive ‘Renelle on the River’ has officially started marketing condos from a newly opened sales center at 405 N. Wabash. Developed by Belgravia Group and designed by Chicago’s bKL Architecture, the 18-story River North project offers 45 three- and four-bedroom units ranging from 2,200 to 3,400 square feet priced between $1.5 and $3.2 million.

In addition to providing buyers with a “single-family home experience” from its high-end units, Renelle will also feature communal amenities such as a fitness center with yoga room, bike storage, and private dog run. The building’s top level will sport a game room, screening room, indoor and outdoor kitchens, and a 4,500-square-foot terrace with a fireplace.

While a permit to demolish the plaza atop the garage where Renelle will eventually rise was issued back in August, the developer does not expect to officially break ground on the project until six months from now. According to a release from Belgravia, twenty percent of the building’s 45 units have already been pre-sold.
