Richard Marx Chops $2M Off Asking Price of Suburban Mansion

New, 3 comments

The suburban mansion of soft rock star Richard Marx has been on the market for nearly a year and this week the David Adler-designed palace takes its first big price chop. Marx listed the home last November with a steep $18 million price tag, but now the home is seeking $16 million. A two million dollar price drop is certainly no drop in the bucket, but when considering that the Grammy Award winner is still looking for $16 million, it's essentially an 11% change in price. The 30,000 square foot lakefront mansion has seven bedrooms, 11 bathrooms and features a whopping total of 19 fireplaces. In addition, the home boasts an 8,000 square foot recording studio.
