The massive redevelopment effort of the old Lincoln Park Hospital has hit another important milestone: condo presales. The mixed-use project, which includes rentals, condos and single family homes, was first presented nearly five years ago, and now Sandz Development and brokerage @properties have announced that they are seeking buyers for Webster Square's 95 condos. The first condos aren't expected to be delivered until late next year, but the project's 75 rental units started leasing last year. Expect a broad range of sizes and prices—units are expected to start at $459,000 and climb all the way up to a whopping $2.3 million. A new sales center has opened at the site to offer potential buyers a first look at finishes and floor plans. While the city has been experiencing a pretty substantial boom in new apartment construction, there have been very few big condo projects delivered in the last couple of years. With pent up demand for new homes, the condos coming to the former Lincoln Park Hospital are coming at just the right time.
