One More Luxury Apartment Tower Prepares to Break Ground

New, 17 comments

While one residential tower plan may have recently bit the dust, another prepares to kick up some dirt. Developers Ryan Companies US and Lincoln Property Company have announced that they will break ground on a new apartment tower for 833 N. Clark St. tomorrow morning. The plan for the 31-story tower was approved by the Chicago Plan Commission last autumn, and once completed, the Antunovich Associates-designed tower will bring a whopping 373 apartments to the Gold Coast neighborhood. There seems to be no end in sight to Chicago's apartment boom and this tower will keep the city on track for the nearly 5,000 rental units expected to be delivered next year.
