Frank Lloyd Wright Home Shaves $100K Off Ask Just Days After Listing

Perhaps the owners of Frank Lloyd Wright's H. Howard Hyde House in Beverly were feeling a little too ambitious when they first listed the home just one week ago. The fully renovated four bedroom, two and a half bathroom home hit the market with a $749,900 ask, but that price has now been lowered to a $649,900. Was three quarters of a million bucks for this home just a little too rich for a home in Beverly? At that price, the house tied for third place for the neighborhood's priciest homes. And while it is indeed a Frank Lloyd Wright design, it's a not necessarily an original commission as the home was one of the prefab American System-Built Houses designed by Wright. Perhaps the price drop indicates that the homeowners are motivated to sell. Fans of Prairie School might want to jump at the chance while they can.
