FLATS Developer Proposes Two Transit-Oriented Projects for Wilson Avenue

New, 15 comments

Developer Cedar Street Cos., which develops and operates the FLATS micro studio developments throughout the North Side has come to the table with two big projects for the Uptown neighborhood. According to 46th Ward Alderman James Cappleman's office, Cedar Street is looking to bring two transit-oriented developments near the Wilson Red Line station: a seven-story, 138-unit development at 975 W. Wilson Ave. and a seven-story, 102-unit development at 1050 W. Wilson Ave. Cedar Street is working with Chicago's SPACE Architects + Planners for both projects, which will be located literally just yards away from one another. The developer will be meeting with various community groups in the coming days to present and discuss the proposal. More can be found on Alderman Cappleman's website.
