A 15-story office building in the West Loop may be getting a stylish modern makeover according to REJournal.com, positioning owners to take advantage of the city's tech boom and solid market for commercial real estate. Plans for 311 West Monroe, owned by GlenStar properties, include a gut rehab of the 380,000-square-foot space as well as a completely new façade of angular, energy-efficient glass panels. The entire building will be up for lease, giving new potential tenants lots of space for expansion.
