Nine Month Time Lapse Reveals Progress on 200 N Michigan

The apartment tower coming to 200 N. Michigan Avenue is well on its way and this time lapse video reveals the quick work the construction team is making of the project. Developed by the John Buck Company and designed by bKL Architecture, the new 41-story tower will deliver 402 rental units to the heart of downtown when it is completed. Loop office worker Andy Krakos has been keeping track of the tower's progress since the very beginning, and has been taking photographs of the construction every day for the last nine months. A previous time lapse video offered a look at the tower after four months of construction, but in this one we see a tower that is truly taking shape. Now called MILA (an abbreviation for Michigan and Lake), the tower will join a revitalized Michigan Avenue next year.
