Here's your chance to explore Chicago's hidden architectural treasures while playing a fun, interactive game with friends. The Chicago Architecture Foundation's annual Scavenger Hunt on May 9, at Buckingham Fountain, leads you around the Loop to solve clues and discover hidden details about Chicago's buildings. Once your team has solved the clues, return to Scavenger Hunt headquarters at Buckingham Fountain to solve a final puzzle while enjoying some Goose Island beer. Afterwards, stay for the festivities at the annual lighting of Buckingham Fountain at ComEd's free Switch on Summer event.
All teams who complete the hunt and solve the puzzle will be entered to win an "Open House Chicago Weekend" prize package that includes hotel stay, dining, special access to all the Open House Chicago festival locations and other perks. Tickets are $35 for the public and $25 for CAF members. Learn more this way, or on Twitter: @chiarchitecture, #chiarchitecture, #CAFhunt.
