According to the latest sales numbers, homes in the Ukrainian Village, Logan Square and West Loop neighborhoods are flying off the shelf. Utilizing data from Redfin's Real-Time Housing Market Tracker and recent sales figures from the National Association of Realtors, Chicago Agent Magazine has compared and contrasted the city's housing inventory with the length of time it takes for homes to sell and has determined that at this moment, homes in the Ukrainian Village are moving faster than homes in any other neighborhood in Chicago.
With a median of only ten days on the market, homes in the Ukrainian Village are selling (or expiring) at a much faster pace than the national median of 52 days. Logan Square and the West Loop are also particularly hot at the moment, with the latter currently witnessing one of the lowest home inventories in the city. As far as median days on the market, Logan Square and the West Loop tie for second place with 14 days. The numbers can certainly change, but this data reinforces the notion that the Ukrainian Village, Logan Square and the West Loop are hot neighborhoods for both buyers and sellers.
